Benefit for Users

Overleaf is an online cloud based LaTeX platform that does not require a user to do a local LaTeX installation. Overleaf keeps their services and security up to date by regularly updating their LaTex components.

A user can join Overleaf with their current Overleaf account. You do not need to create a new account to be part of a group subscription. You can join or leave a group subscription at any time you want. Your account will have all the projects you created and saved. This is not affected by any kind of subscription. A user can create unlimited number of projects, which are all private unless otherwise made private. There are thousands of available templates to choose from and editing and compiling the documents can be done on their online user-friendly editor.

Overleaf group subscription allows a user to have simultaneous collaborative control over their LaTeX document. Several collaborators can contribute on the document simultaneously. It further allows the users to see the timeline and changes to the document overtime. It also has integrations to Dropbox and GitHub.
